About the Event
Learn this elegant, yet sensual partner dance that hails from eastern Cuba! Son (sohn) dates back to the 18th century from the Oriente region of Cuba and emphasizes movements of the torso, traveling across the floor and connecting with your partner. Not a whole lot of spinning or "flash-and-dash", as Son is a much deeper, more intimate experience.
To my Casineros & Rueda dancers, this class is especially helpful for you when you hear Son at our socials and parties!
